We don’t believe in adding to many things into a single face mask so we are going to tell you such face masks that are easy to make, contain fewer ingredients, and contain ingredients that are easily available at everyone’s home.

Best homemade face masks –

1. Oatmeal face mask – If you have old acne marks, dull and dry skin, then this face mask is surely for you. All you need is just some oats and milk.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Take some oats.

Step-2. Take some warm milk.

Step-3. Add 4-5 tablespoon of milk to 2 tablespoon of oats.

Step-4. Apply the thick paste to your face and leave it for 15-20 min.

Step-5. Wash it off and dry your face with a towel.


2. Multani mithi face mask – This is one of the best homemade face masks if your skin is tanned and dull. This face mask will give you an instant glow and it even doesn’t have any side effects.

Preparation and application

Step-1. Take 2 tablespoons of multani mithi powder into a bowl.

Step-2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of curd to it.

Step-3. Add a pinch of turmeric powder to it.

Step-4. Mix them well.

Step-5. Apply the mask and leave it on for 25-30 min. and afterward wash it off with the help of tap water.


3. Honey lemon face mask – Are you suffering from acne problem and dryness?. Then this is one of the homemade face masks that is totally for you. It has antibacterial properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and is a good exfoliating agent. If your skin is very sensitive we would suggest you don’t use it or do a patch test before using it.

Preparation and application

Step-1. Take 2-3 tablespoons of honey in a bowl.

Step-2. Squeeze half a lemon to it and mix them.

Step-3. Apply the mask and massage with the help of your hands on your face slowly for 2-3 min.

Step-4. Leave it on for 15-20 min. and wash it off afterwards.


4. Banana face mask – This is a great mask for making your skin softer and shinier. It even moisturizes your skin so well. This is one of the homemade face masks that doesn’t have any side effect, unless are allergic to banana. So go and try this one for a glowing skin.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Mash a banana(infact half of a banana will be enough too).

Step-2. Take the mashed banana and massage with it on your face for 10-15 min.

Step-3. Leave it for 5-10 min. more and wash it off then.


5. Milk face mask – Now this is not basically a face mask but its more of a single ingredient with a lot of benefits. It gives your skin a glowing and shinier texture. It also helps you fight acne and makes your acne marks fade away.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Take 2-3 tablespoons of raw milk into a bowl.

Step-2. Dip cotton in it and wipe your face with its help.

Step-3. Put a thick coating of milk on your face and let it be there for 15- 20 min.

Step-5. Wash it off afterwards.


6. Yogurt face mask – This is also one of those handmade face masks that doesn’t require any additional ingredient. Plain yogurt has so many benefits for our skin like the lightening of skin color, removes tan, helps in fading acne marks, and a great moisturizer too.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Take 2-3 tablespoon plain yogurt in a bowl.

Step-2. Massage it on your face properly for 10-15 min.

Step-3. Leave it on for 15-20 min. and wash it off after that.


7. Turmeric face mask – If you are fed up with acne marks, dull skin, open pores, and skin pigmentation then this is one of the homemade face masks that is surely for you. It makes your skin feel so fresh and bright that you will be amazed by the results too.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Take 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder in a bowl.

Step-2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of aloe-vera gel to it.

Step-3. Apply this thick paste on your face and let it be on your face for 25-30 min.

Step-4. Wash it off with cold or tap water.


8. Coffee face mask – Does your skin feel very dry and lifeless?. Then the coffee face mask is here to bring life to your skin and make it look gorgeous then it ever was. It solves problems like blackheads, dryness, dullness, etc. etc.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Take 1 tablespoon of coffee in a bowl.

Step-2. Add 1-2 tablespoons of raw milk to it.

Step-3. Apply all over your face and neck.

Step-4. Let it set for 20- 30 min.

Step-5. Wash it off and dry your face with the help of a towel.


9. Besan(gram flour) face mask – This is also one of those homemade face masks that doesn’t require the addition of any other ingredient. This one is the one I personally recommend. I love how it makes the skin feel so soft and glowing at the same time.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Take 1 tablespoon of besan in your hand.

Step-2. Add a little amount of water to get a thick consistency.

Step-3. Massage it all over your face for about 5 min.

Step-4. Let it set for 15 -20 min. and wash it off afterwards.


10. Cucumber face mask – When it comes to skin whitening, tightening of pores, glow, hydration, etc. This face mask is the answer to all these things. It makes your skin feels so amazing and hydrated that you are surly gonna fall in love with it. Although you can add things like tomato, aloe-vera to it, but we will tell you the simplest way to make it.

Preparation and application –

Step-1. Firstly, peel 1 cucumber it would be enough.

Step-2. Cut it into small slices.

Step-3. Grind it in a grinder until you get a thick paste.

Step-4. Apply it directly to your face and leave it for 15-20 min.

Step-5. Wash it off afterwards.
